Taking the ‘ouch’ out of A&E for children at the James Paget

Visiting an emergency department can be daunting for patients – especially little ones who can often feel scared and anxious.

This is why the Raise a Rainbow Appeal for the James Paget University Hospital aims to make amazing things happen with your donation, including a brand new children’s environment in A&E.

We want to create an area with multi-sensory equipment, toys, an LED ‘blue sky’ roof and brightly-coloured walls to help children feel at home while they wait for treatment or for their brother or sister to be seen.

This is just one of the many ways that your support continues to help our patients feel more comfortable during a difficult time.

Please help us to help families visiting A&E by donating to our Raise a Rainbow appeal.
