The family of a patient has generously donated £5,000 to our hospital charity in her memory. The money will be split between Ward 3 and our Neonatal Unit, both departments which have helped provide care to the Annison family over the years, with a small proportion going to support our staff too.
Carl Annison said; “On behalf of my late mother Maureen Annison, I am proud to donate £5,000 in her memory to say thank you for the amazing work of the NHS in a time of need during her care with the lung cancer team. Mum would also be overwhelmed to donate money to the special care baby unit as most of her grandchildren and her most recent great grandchild had specialist care in their early days. The whole family sends their thanks to all the staff at the James Paget and the NNUH for their amazing dedication and kindness over the years. If the money donated can help others in the same situation, that will give our family great comfort. We thank you all.”
