A local teacher is raising money for the Sandra Chapman Centre at the James Paget, and supporting the Little Princess Trust, by cutting her long hair off later this week.

Ellie Buchan decided to fundraise after seeing a number of close relatives, friends and colleagues diagnosed with cancer in the past 18 months, including her Mum.

She says, "As a result I wanted to do some fundraising for two great charitable causes; The Little Princess Trust and the Sandra Chapman Centre at the James Paget, where my Mum will be treated.  I will be donating around 14 inches of hair to The Little Princess Trust on the 28th August - they make wigs for children who have lost their hair to cancer treatments or other illnesses.

"I'd like to say a massive thank you to Sally, Megan and Ellie at Rainer Hair Couture and Associates,; Megan will be doing the chopping at their brand-new salon in Baker Street in Gorleston - thank you Sally and team".
