About us Charity co-ordinator Charity co-ordinator James Paget University Hospital Charity Appeal Co-ordinator Maxine Taylor Heading the James Paget University Hospital Charity’s fundraising team is Maxine Taylor who is here to make sure your donation goes to the cause most important to you. “It’s the best job in the world because you get to see the difference that the money raised for the James Paget University Hospital makes. “The charity pays for the things that NHS money can’t buy and can make all the difference to patients and their time with us at the Paget. “I just love talking to people and meeting people and if you can help them to help a cause that means so much to them, that’s an added bonus. “We have people who want to raise money in memory of a loved one or who have been so impressed by the treatment they or someone they love has had at the Paget that they want to put something back. “I think that’s the overall message that I get from fundraisers, their desire to give something back to the hospital that helped them and the community it serves. “I had my son Laurence at the Paget 27 years ago and it has always had a place in my heart, so it’s an honour to be here to help those that want to help the hospital. “It’s so heartwarming to hear why people want to raise money and to show them what their money does for other people. I consider myself lucky to have a part in it.” * Do you need help with your fundraising or would you like to talk to Maxine? Contact her on [email protected] or call 01493 453348.
