James Paget University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust, which celebrated its 40th anniversary of fully opening to patients in 2022, is committed to utilising pioneering technology to improve the care it provides to patients.

Having a surgical robot would help to support a wide range of surgeries across the Trust, and reduce the amount of time most patients would need to stay in hospital after treatment. It would allow our expert clinical teams to perform complex surgeries with better precision, in a minimally invasive way. Patients will also benefit from state of the art surgery techniques, which can improve tumour clearance and reduce post-operation complications or need for re-admission.

To achieve this vision, the James Paget Hospital Charity is calling on the fantastic support of its local community to help raise the necessary funds to purchase the robot – and has set a target to raise £1.6million over the next 12 months.

There will be many different ways to support this appeal over the next year, and we welcome your brilliant ideas of how we can raise money to achieve our target.

Please support us today by making a donation towards are Robot appeal and make a real difference to your local community

Funds raised for this appeal will be designated towards the purchase of a Surgical Robot. Any surplus money raised will be used where it is most needed at the Hospital.
