Your Legacy Their Future

With an ever growing population of more than 250,000 people in the Great Yarmouth and Waveney area, we are always looking forward to the future and how we continue to provide improved health care to our local communities.  One of the ways you can support us in this aim is by leaving a legacy in your will.

Legacies left to the James Paget University Hospital can play a vital role in enhancing care for family, friends, neighbours and your community after you have gone, enabling you to show you care.

It is likely that your legacy will be the very last thing that you will do and what better way to let your values live on.

Your gift could allow us to provide the extra touches that make a huge difference to patients.

Generous legacies have helped us purchase a range of equipment including the items listed below, but even a small gift can make a huge difference.

We would like to thank you for considering making a donation through your will - and we are very grateful to those who have left a lasting legacy through their final requests.

  • £28,000 enabled us to purchase 20 anaesthetic pumps.
  • £34,000 provided monies to purchase an ultrasound machine for the pain clinic, to enhance the care that is given to patients.
  • £96,000 purchased 19 defibrillators to be used in varying wards around the hospital which saved staff having to locate one in time of need.
  • £246,000 funded the purchase of state of the art monitoring equipment for theatres.

If you are interested in giving to your local hospital please get in touch on 01493 453348 or e-mail [email protected]
