Our hospital charity has received a donation of just over £10,000 thanks to the amazing work of ‘Queen of Knitting’ Margaret Seaman.

James Paget Hospital Charity Co-ordinator Maxine Taylor was recently presented with the massive cheque by Margaret and her daughter Tricia Wilson (pictured) after the success of knitted models of both Sandringham and Great Yarmouth Seafront created by Margaret.

Margaret and Tricia have travelled the country showcasing their wonderful knitted creations and have been raising money for all three of Norfolk’s acute hospitals. The James Paget, the Norfolk and Norwich and Queen Elizabeth Hospital Kings Lynn are all receiving over £10,000 as a result.

Maxine said; “Anyone who has seen one of Margaret’s brilliant knitted models will know how detailed and amazing they are, and whenever they have been on display they have attracted crowds who have generously made a donation to support Norfolk hospital charities. We would like to thank Margaret and Tricia for their continued support of our hospital through this remarkable crafting and thank everyone who has supported this.”
